Update on my two cancers

I haven’t posted for a while because my colon cancer has acted up. After my liver cancer has been stable for over two years, my colon cancer decided to act up. So my oncologist changed my chemo drugs, which had some very unpleasant side effects.  He’s making adjustments which, hopefully, will prevent another visit to the ER. Several times over the last month, I thought I was dying although I must say the hallucinations were interesting.

I’m just letting you know I’m still alive and kicking – hoping to jump into giving you some new blog posts to ponder. I think my first one will be some advice to the Germans on atonement. Just thinking out loud.

Twenty-seven months ago, my doctor said I had only five to eight months to live.  My goal is to live to be one billion years old and to think of my 61st, 62nd, and 63rd years as my most physically challenging. Doc says my condition is terminal but…we’ll see.
