The FBI did it - not North Korea

There’s a lot of chatter about those dastardly North Koreans being responsible for hacking Sony on the internet, causing the cancellation of “The Interview.” The ever-reliable and honest FBI assures us it has evidence nailing the North Koreans. However, I will bet, if push comes to shove, that the FBI won’t release this evidence because – you guessed it – they don’t want to reveal (directly or indirectly) how we gather intelligence.

So we’re left with taking the FBI’s word for this and to believe that the United States is really that vulnerable to cyber attack by a fourth-rate country. Are you kidding me? I’m far more inclined to think that the FBI hacked Sony, with the intention of blaming NK. That way, we’d have an excuse to smite them. What better way to get the average US citizen behind a retaliatory action than to suggest that our freedom to see whatever movie we want was successfully challenged?

Update on my two cancers

I haven’t posted for a while because my colon cancer has acted up. After my liver cancer has been stable for over two years, my colon cancer decided to act up. So my oncologist changed my chemo drugs, which had some very unpleasant side effects.  He’s making adjustments which, hopefully, will prevent another visit to the ER. Several times over the last month, I thought I was dying although I must say the hallucinations were interesting.

I’m just letting you know I’m still alive and kicking – hoping to jump into giving you some new blog posts to ponder. I think my first one will be some advice to the Germans on atonement. Just thinking out loud.

Twenty-seven months ago, my doctor said I had only five to eight months to live.  My goal is to live to be one billion years old and to think of my 61st, 62nd, and 63rd years as my most physically challenging. Doc says my condition is terminal but…we’ll see.
